What really makes bands a lot of fun is you can do more static exercises and give your muscles something intense, or you can go really dynamic and work your muscles on an all new level. Not to mention that using bands is also a great form of resistance training which means you will be building lean muscle mass.
A static exercise something like a squat for example. It’s all about concentration on the exercise and making sure you also stay in place. You also don’t want to use momentum with static exercises because you are trying to be pretty intense with your muscles.
A dynamic exercise is something where you are moving pretty quick and almost constantly. The range of motion on a band is almost limitless so they are perfect for dynamic exercising… not to mention with the different resistance levels, you can find the perfect workout intensity. With dynamic exercise routines, you can very quickly burn body fat while at the same time inducing lean muscle growth and tightness.
You can also get very creative with the exercise plan and do things like throw punches while in a squat position, the options are limitless. You can really test yourself and your strength by incorporating holds in your programs like squatting while holding a front raise then throw it up to a press. Resistance bands are a fantastic piece of equipment that need to be part of your workout plans for fat loss and lean muscle growth too. Plus they are very inexpensive to purchase and you can use them in your home or the gym!
